Tis' the season to be jolly~ Falalalala~ lalalala

December 24th '08, Wednesday
7pm on Christmas Eve I went to June's house. I've been going to her house every year for Christmas Eve as long as I can remember. This year was different. For the first time the adults ate in the house. Because it rained, you see. Usually the adults ate in the garden, and chatted and chattted till midnight or early morning on Christmas Day. We children (if I can STILL be considered as a CHILD) ate in the hall. Turkey and potatoes and roast beef and salad (yummy) and rice. And before we stared eating, before I even stepped into June's familiar and cosy and Christmasy home, I got attacked by hairspray. There was red and blue and green, though the blue was already at no-more-ink point. And when attacked by red and blue and green hairspray ( temporary, of course) I did not defend myself, instead I shouted: "spray some more!" "spray some more!" and so everybody who passed the front door got sprayed. In red and green and a little bit of blue.

Then the games started. There was volleyball and monkey and name swapping and tag and pass the rubberbands with drinking straws, and statue and karaoke ABBA and linking hands around the sleeping man on sofa, hollering christmas carols at the top of our voices. And hunting presents and bobbing apples. Poor June played bobbing apples till there was blood in her braces. Ouch, that must hurt is all I'm saying.

The List of Children in June's House (ten) on Christmas Eve evening.

Jun Anne

Andrea

Calvin

Clarence

Kai Li(as in Kylie Minouge, haha XD)

Kai Wen

And ME of course.

We played and danced and sang and partied and played some more until midnight. Then we sang a birthday song for my mum. ( Did I mention it was her birthday?) Then came the sad part. We had to go home! Boo hoo. But I suppose we must GO home sometime, we can't sing Abba till six in the morning, and anyways we have a presentation tomorrow, me and my two brothers, that is.
So after the goodbyes and the I-Had-A-Good-Time,-Thank-Yous, the See-You-Sometimes and the Merry-Christmases, we headed home.

December 25th, Thursday
7:30am. Woke up. Remembered nothing. Then suddenly, everything came flooding to my mind. Last night. Partying. Red, green and blue. Still on my hair! And today was Christmas day. Church, I remembered. Church by 8:30.
Brushed and Washed. Put on my clothes. ( t-shirt and jeans, nothing special.) Went to church.
Now comes the fun part. We tambouriners have vereee special costumes, that is a long sleeved blouse and gown, and this year we even have sequined scarves over the gowns. Blue scarves for white gowns, and pink for purple. I know we have had photos taken, (must ask for it) so I think I will put it here when I have it.
Then comes the performance. It will be very boring if I were to describe it using words, so all I am gonna say is I think all of us did very well. The bigger boys with flags, the girls (above age nine, I think) split into two groups, tambouriners (that's us) and ribboners. Whilst the smaller children took charge of the lights. Get it? You won't, unless you were present in JB Wesley on 25th December. Yawning already? I knew you would be, if I were to describe the WHOLE thing to you, you would be snoring, slumped on your keyboard, while saliva drips outta your mouth. Ha!
So after the performance we went home and came out again, bringing great carrier bags of presents with us. We zoomed to people's houses, passed them their presents then zoomed off again. Lastly we arrived at Arielle's house. She was playing her Wii when we arrived. Apparently it was her Christmas present (Oohlala) then we stayed there till seven o'clock. Three hours straght. Arielle had long since went upstairs to download songs into her iPod, so her older brother Daniel was taking charge of the Wii. We took turns playing Pitfall. Then it was bye-bye time.
Evening came, and we went to a Japanese buffet restaurant and ate as much as we can. Then I went to Tiffany's house. I was there until midnight. Playing, talking, fighting(on the x-box, not really fighting) and frisbee throwing.
December 26th, Friday
Today is Boxing Day, the day I open my presents. Or the day I am supposed to open my presents, anyway. I have long since ripped open my presents. Haha.
So, here is the list of Christmas presents I recieved for 2008. Enjoy.
June- A jewellery box stuffed with two necklaces. One with a cross pendant and one without.
Tiffany- Seashell necklace from Manila! Sweet! Thanks, Tiffany!
Pei- A pegasus pendant and music sheet clipper. Both from Japan. The pendant can be used for the empty necklace from June.
Carol- Six cupcake handkerchieves
Christelle- Ladybug Piggy-bank
Adeline- A book- The Giver by Lois Lowry. Which I like, very much.
Elisha- Minnie Mouse Keychain from Hong Kong Disneyland
Auntie xxx- (somebodie's mother) a pretty pink scarf from Vietnam.
I think that's all. Enjoy reading.

Today started out like usual. Going to church. Having tambourine dance practice instead of Sunday School because of Christmas. After church, we went to Pelangi to eat. While I was stuffing Ebiko into my mouth, ( we were eating in Sushi King) Dad announced he was sending me to Youth Party at the church afterwards, which was held today at Three. I groaned and said there was nobody going with me, ( OF COURSE there were people going, like Carol and Chrystelle, but nobody was going with ME). After that we went to Metrojaya, (as always) and bought Clarence a Matchbox. I, like always, was reading a book. And I told Dad I wasn't going to that party if I was arriving late. And I told him I had to go to Popular to get a book for Adeline. And he said, " Go to Popular then, we'll meet you there." As soon as I heard this I put my bookmark ( my Yellow bookmark which came together with my shoes. My Everlast sneakers). And carrying the book that I was reading, I ran all the way up a floor to Popular.
So, when I was at the entrance of Popular, I realized that my bookmark was gone. It must have dropped out when I was running, I thought. Oh bother. I'll hunt for it later. So I went to Popular and hunted for a book to give to Adeline for Christmas. Not to mention find something to buy something interesting for me to pass my time, too. I was getting anxious, I needed to hunt for my bookmark. And so I hid the two books behind some others, and went out of Popular. Just then, I saw Dad and Mum and my two brothers. When mum came in I removed the two books from their hiding and passed it to mummy for paying. And ran out of Popular, searching for my bookmark.
I searched and searched and searched, retracing the way I had came from Metrojaya. "Give up," said Dad, " It's only a bookmark." I don't know why, but I had grown fond of that bookmark, and decided to hunt it out. I hunted and hunted, circling through the places I've been in the top floor of Metrojaya. My search range was small, because I had only lost my bookmark before I went to Popular. At last, I spotted a small patch of yellow on the floor, and rejoiced. I picked it up and stuffed it into my pouch.

Well, I concluded that my search for my Everlast bookmark had consumed a lot of time, so I figured that there was no chance I was going to the party now, I was going to be late. Suprisingly, I wasn't late, even though mum had gone to Guardian before we went tback to JB Wesley. I was shoved out of the car, and I found myself at the church gates.
I walked slowly and nervously into the sanctury, and the party hadn't started yet. Because technically, I was underage, 'cos Youth meant 13 years old to much older, and I was just only twelve a month ago. Well anyway, as soon as I got in there, Chrystelle spotted me, and wavwed, indicating for me ato join herself and Carol. They were sitting at a big table, with several boys from church and a girl who I didn't recognise at first. I didn't recognise her because her head was bent over her PSP, but then, when I got closer, I realised. It was ARIELLE.
You might think I was overreacting, but this isn't ANY Arielle, it was Arielle-Who-I-Haven't-Set-My-Eyes-On-For-A-Very-Long-Time-And-Whom-I-Am-Very-Fond-Of. She hasn't changed much, still has the same haircut and facial features. But what was she DOING here? She had long left JB Weslay for Church Of Praise. Not that I wasn't glad to see her, but it was such a coincedence. I thought, I am Very Glad I came.
The party went on. There was a band from Singapore called The Snooze who came to entertain us, and at the candy cane game I won a couple of movie vouchers for a so-called interesting answer for What Is The Craziest Thing You've Ever Done At Christmas.
So. This day is turning out to be quite good.
The only problem is who am I going to take out to watch a movie, since I have two free tickets in my hands. And if so, what movie to watch.
I have to go. Tomorrow (Tuesday, I am writing this on the 22nd, Monday) is going to be a busy day.
Coming soon is a survey of If You Had A Choice, What Colour Would You Want Your Eyes To Be and various people's answers.
Stay tuned.

Headlines: 3 year old toddler and what he does at home.
The 3 year old toddler? My brother Clarence loh. What he does at home? That one is for me to ask and for you to guess. You might say: playing with his toy cars. No. Guess again. Watching the same movie on DVD (e.g. Cars or Transformers) all day? No. Guess again. Messing around with my Play-Doh? NO. Not even that.
So what has he been up to, you might ask. Well, you will never believe it but he spends most of his time at home PLAYING THE COMPUTER. Well, for some of you, it might not be a suprise, you probably start as early too. But Clarence is addicted, which means I only have limited time on the computer, and that is only because he has gone out with my mother.
So, don't ask me why who've not seen me on msn these days. You already know the answer...

What you can use to describe my life: BORING. And DULL. And LONELY.

My life didn't use to be like that. I used to be happy and contended. It all changed after I graduated from Foon Yew 2. ( I used to hate it, but I kinda miss it now. Sigh~) I started seeing less and less of my friends. I feel lonely, feel empty, like something's missing in me. Every now and then, I flip through the photos of my graduation trip, relieving every memory. But these are only memories, they are the past, they can never repeat themselves, but these are happy memories, memories that I will cherish FOREVER~.
